Best way to launch 6mt

Whats the best way to launch a 6mt? I usually drop the clutch at 3.5k but that gives me too much wheel spin:/

I would try 2-2.5k...it's touchy for sure and I still haven't figured it out yet and it kills me in 60'...

As with just about any manual trans car, you have to figure out how much to slip the clutch for whatever RPM you choose to launch. Your fastest acceleration from a stop will be with just a tiny bit of wheel spin. Too high RPM with a fast clutch release usually equals a big burnout. Too low RPM with a fast clutch release usually equals bogging off the line.

So it's hard to give you a definitive RPM you should launch at because it really depends upon how much you slip the clutch and apply the throttle as you're launching. Just practice your launches in a big parking lot until you got it down.

I never launched, I've tried when I first got it and I felt so bad for her after I was done beating and never did it agian. Feather it out then pin her.

Yeah, I agree to some extent. I don't really have an interest in beating on my G, so no really hard launches for me, but at the same time, the clutch isn't nearly as fragile as some people on this forum make it out to be. Keep in mind that the Z is basically the same set-up and those the Z guys tend beat up on their cars more often (on average) than G guys.
