G37S auto tops at 142. Just did it yesterday on a vacant highway in mexico.

It sucks cause it you hit that right after you shift to 5th, if it weren't for the limiter it could go much higher.

154 in a G37 6MT and didn't hit a limiter but ran out of track.

The car felt like it had a little more.

why would the top speed be different in a non - sport compared to the sport? If so, can someone tell me the numbers?

Tires on the non-sport are V-rated, while the RE050A are W-rated.

Meaning, they're rated to go 149 and 168 respectively.

Some sports seem to have the lower governor... (cough B L U E S L A T E cough; we pick on the poor guy cuz of that all the time)

S2k is scary as ****e over 120 unless you have some aero... the s2k speedo can be off too, but you can always have it calibrated. AP2 speedos tend to be dead on; AP1's were power limited and read a bit high up top. Mine tops out at 157 on the speedo (limiter in 6th), and according to the math, it's correct, but I didn't have GPS to verify...

You should have the 158 governer...

The 136 and 158 are the two that I'm aware of (lots of customers + personal experience in at an appropriate event)

Oh, and @ G37nS2k: you got some huge ***** if you did 144

I think this is the determining factor here. Mine tops at 142ish limiter in 5th gear. I think the reason there are different speeds is just that it is programmed to kick in at the begining of the last gear. That would explain why the 6mt guys are getting higher speeds than the 5at guys. The limiter stops at the same spot in the rpms it just depends what transmission you have. Thats just my theory on it.
