it would all depend on which intake/ exhaust etc... HFCs would make the biggest difference

Definetely drivers race.. But i'd have to say the G with HFC's would have to get the win... Greddy exhaust isn't a full cat-back and the stock y-pipe sucks.... Now if it was a G that had a Greddy with an aftermarket y-pipe (JIC Magic,Tanabe, Exhaust Depot) then it would be hella close... But again, DRIVERS RACE!

In a way Gday may be right, how much HP difference do you think it takes to make a .5 second difference in a race. I bet it's a lot more then you think.

yea but the difference between a 13.0 and a 13.2 or 13.3 is very noticeable.

True. But I am speaking about minor differences as in a foot ahead or half a car length or even inches...a winner is a winner if you begin from the same point... Attribute it to pure driving skills and/or simple bolt-ons, a win is a win..However, the bolt-on's have been proven to increase flow meaning the engine breathes better meaning the car may run just a tiny little bit quicker than one of the same without the mod.
