Lol, I hear you. Coming from a stage 2 06 STI its definitely noticeable. The low-mid 9s in the 1/8 mile was what I got in my stock 02 WRX lmao. But clearly, our cars are overall to serve quite a different purpose. Can't just compare speed, cause then otherwise I would've just gotten an evo X instead.

new times!!!! well insted of leaving of the converter i just puched it and i did 8.37 @86mph!!!! thanks for the tip kahboom.

WOW that's the best 8th mile I've seen now I think... if I could have pulled an 8.3... I might have hit 13.6... or low 13.7's

i did my best launch today. i hold in the clutch in until 6k and letted go, slowly letting go. the car got a quick jump off the line. slowly release the clutch and then stepped on the gas alittle harder.

well since you've got a clutch I doubt my advice would work for you.
In the AT, if you minimize heat build up , you maximize launch.
