why are people surprised the nismo 350Z did so well? it's suspension was tuned for the track...the ride is rock hard but man does that thing dance around corners like it was a feather weight....not bad for a 3400lbs. car....

not all the credit goes to the nismo Z...the Z got a good jump start while the IS-F and M3 did battle it out for a while....but yeah, the nismo Z is a great track car. i'm surprised the IS-F was not as impressive.

very impressed with the Z...shows how good it was and still is...being able to hold its on against cars costing $20k+ and with 100+ hp
lexus still needs work in the "sports" car segment...the M3 outperformed it badly

In the Best Motoring Vid from 2003 or 2004 (can't remember) The G35C did battle with a few other sport/GTs including the RX8, Miata, WRX and S2K. The S2K won the G35 came in second but the G35 coupe was running down the S2K in the end although it itself had to start from the very rear of the pack. So this result from the JDM Nismo Z doesn't surprise me at all.
