First Time Exhaust Mods

I have a 2009 G37S coupe. I've been making little mods here and there (mostly lights and such), but now I'm wanting to do something a bigger. I'm thinking of upgrading my exhaust and I'm not sure which one to get. I think the stock sounds nice, but I want it to be louder and more aggressive. However, I do a lot of highway driving (80mph) and don't want to hear this loud obnoxious exhaust sound. I've been looking at videos online, but all I've found are at lower speeds/in town driving. I also thought of doing a muffler delete, but I've seen people say that gets super loud on the highway. Is there an exhaust that sounds great in town and isn't annoying on the highway?

I also can admit that my G is the first car I'm modding. I'm a novice, so I have a lot to learn about cars, mods, etc. So if I'm asking for too much from an exhaust, just be nice with how you let me know. I also appreciate any info from you guys!

A muffler delete will definitely drone. I would suggest getting a resonated axleback and testing the waters that way. I gapped my muffler by using washers so there was an exhaust leak before the exhaust entered the muffler for about a week to see how I would tolerate an exhaust. Might want to try that out first.

Yeah what 4doorfury said. Start with just an axleback like the Tanabe medalion one. If you want it louder, Tanabe even makes a mid pipe and y pipe you can always add down the road. Do a search on YouTube for it, there are a lot of videos on there.
