370Z Part Compatibility with G37
370Z Part Compatibility with G37
I've been creeping these boards for a while now... learned much... but still some things unanswered.
There's been talk about how because the 370Z and G37 share the same frame and have the same suspension, there is compatibility with some parts from the 370Z.
I'll be focusing specifically on NISMO products.
From what I've gathered, the G37/370GT/V36/CKV36 was largely ignored by Nissan seemingly because their efforts were focused on the GT-R and 370Z.
//LATE DISCLAIMER//
There may be some reading this wondering why anyone would
go through the hassle with all the (great) aftermarket options
available and, therefore, not consider this endeavor worthwhile.
And while I agree, I think if nothing else, the data points from
a conclusive thread on this subject would be worthwhile for
others considering such "purist" mods to move forward, or
accept the aftermarket options that have built their reputation
in the absence of Nissan/NISMO's involvement with the G37.
//END DISCLAIMER//
The following NISMO products for the 370Z I've come across could plausibly be compatible with the G37:
If any of this information is inaccurate, please contribute your knowledge so it's corrected.
If you think this list is missing any NISMO parts, let me know, and I'll be happy to update this post.
Thanks.

The following NISMO products for the 370Z I've come across could plausibly be compatible with the G37:
- NISMO Cat-Back Exhaust System - B0100-1EA25
Word is it requires 12" extension to accommodate increased vehicle length because of back seats.
I have NOT read of any confirmed installs or seen any pictures posted.
- NISMO S-Tune Suspension Kit - E3100-1EA00
Will give nearly 1-inch drop to coupe given weight difference from 370Z.
I have read of confirmed installs, but have not seen any pictures posted.
- NISMO Stabilizer Kit - E4600-1EA00
Read anecdotal claims it should fit, but nothing conclusive or pictures
- NISMO R-Tune Cold Air Intake (Long Tube) - 16576-RNZ40
Read anecdotal claims it should fit, but nothing conclusive or any pictures posted.
- NISMO R-Tune Header - 14002-RNZ35
Read anecdotal claims it should fit, but nothing conclusive or any pictures posted.
Also, this is for the 350Z, but different sources and aftermarkets list compatibility with 350Z and 370Z, thus speculation it should work with G35 and G37 respectively.
If any of this information is inaccurate, please contribute your knowledge so it's corrected.

NISMO makes some quality parts but, they are not competitive at all with their prices since there are limited quantites. I could see getting NISMO parts on a 370Z to avoid warranty problems but since we have the G37, that is a moot point. If I can get an identical OEM quality product from Cusco, Tein, Eibach and the others and be equally frowned on for a warranty, why pay more? I'm interested to see what options we have for cross reference reasons but I doubt this will ever be some sort of revolutionary idea.
