If I buy the $10 DIY kit for my 2008 G37 Coupe, Will I need resistors if I want them to blink normally and not hyper?

At the end of the video where it shows the lights flashing, is that just the DIY kit or did with resistor added? If no resistor is used, Why do I need a resistor since it blinks like factory?

You'll need resistors. Since led lights draw less power then traditional bulbs when you use them the computer will see less power being drawn and think the bulb is out therefore the hyperblinking occurs.

If you have a Coupe, I suggest going with the Plug & Play version. It's extremely simple to install, and won't take more than 5-10 minutes tops

Just ordered. Can't wait to install them. I haven't seen these on any car yet so I'll be the first and maybe only one in my city.

You said the brakes lights take precedent....are the turn signals going to disappear when applying the brakes to make the turn?

No it doesn't.....it shows how they work with no one in the car. If your turning, about 90% of the time your foot is on the he brake, either slowing down or at a stop waiting to proceed. If the brake lights have priority, than this is/could be dangerous and pretty much nonfunctional.

Pretty sure the vid shows foot on the brake and turn signal. The 3rd/middle brake light stays lit as well as the light opposite the applied turn signal.

You must be watching a different video. The one on their website shows nothing like that.

Umm, no...if the turn signals got overridden by the brake lights and disappear when the brakes are applied, this would be a pretty useless mod. I have this mod on my car and I can confirm that that's not how it works.

When you put on the blinker and apply the brakes at the same time, the brake lights will come on first and the blinker will return after just one blink delay and stay blinking. So the car behind you will see that you're slowing down and turning.
