Im positive i can break 320 with boltons. Read more. Intakes Headers Hfc Ark grip cat back M370 intake manifold Up rev tune That should do it. Those boltons plus tune will get me damn near that. Trust me
You've got a bunch of threads asking about every bolt on mod available and whether they will make 320 hp. Since you seem set on your path and convinced that it will produce a certain result, how about you stop asking about it in multiple threads and post a thread detailing your progress toward it and the results? If you're going to do it, just do it. Post a build thread and post dynos as you make progress with each step. Or a final dyno if you do it all at once.
I guess I misunderstood your post #16 above. I presumed that meant you had it all figured out and decided. You seemed pretty sure about things. My bad.
I did a A$$ton of research on whether to pull the trigger on the M370 or wait to get an exhaust and found someone saying the gains from it are close to the same as a catback.... How true that is, I dont know. But Im gonna find out I guess! I ordered mine this past weekend and am installing a Stillen Gen 3 CAI at the same time so this should be fun.
My G37 made 306 to the rear wheels with HFC, Longtube intakes, UpRev Tune and a Ypipe... So with a M370 intake and headers I would expect a small bump in HP.
Now this y pipe. Where exactly does that go? Will i eliminate that with my catback, headers, and high flow cats?
A y pipe is literally a y shaped pipe. It collects the exhaust from both catalytic converters and conducts it to the muffler. Some exhausts have them, others have an X pipe, shaped like an X (see how that works?) and others have true dual exhausts where the gases from one catalytic converter never see the gases from the other.
