Exhaust Question

I'm looking to spend around $1,500 on an exhaust system for my G37X sedan. I have leniency if I need to spend a little more for a higher quality system.

I am looking for a system that isn't too loud it's irritating to others. I don't want a system that's loud just being idle. I'd like something not too loud but when you put the peddle down you know its there. The less rasp the better.

Somewhat like this:
(Not all theparts listed in his video description are not available for the X)

What company should I be looking for?
Will it fit in my budget?

Look into Fast Intention or Ark. You want more power go w/ Ark

FI seemed really loud in the video I watched.
I have been thinking about the ARK a little bit.

What do people think of the Stillen dual exhaust kit with the Gen 3 intake?

I forgot about that exhaust. That's pretty good too. My other friend has that too and sounds pretty nice.

I have that combo, and the main driver was because I picked up both for $1250 on promo from Stillen. It's has a nice sound and volume, but not rasp free. When I added Fast Intentions RHFCs, almost all the rasp was gone, and the Stillen sound remained, but dropped a few octaves.

Not a clue.
Still thinking for sure.
I just don't want my car to sound obnoxious.

I don't need ridiculous exhaust for a 330 HP car so it's been really hard to decide.

I bought a stillen gen 3 cold air intake 2 days ago though so we'll see what i'm looking for after I get that installed.

NIC, give invidia a consideration. It's only slightly louder than stock at normal rpms and doesn't really start to growl until 4K+. Very mild mannered exhaust IMO.

IMO, an intake/exhaust won't really make a huge difference in power, tune or not. You may gain 20hp on the dyno, but how noticeable is that in day-day driving...

I took a look but it doesn't look like they make it for the sedan.

actually, I'm sort of liking fast intentions after all.
Not too loud when you're just sitting in your car.

It's not loud at all. I have that on my car and the HFC. Love the sound.

Thanks, that's perfect.
I have a stillen intake in shipping right now.
So i'm sure i'll be adding the exhaust soon as well.

Maybe I'll check out the HFC as well.
Does it take care of any rasp?

The RHFCs actually did a really good job in reducing my exhaust's rasp.
