Journey Suspension Upgrade / Questions
Hello forum,
I just purchased an 08 Athens Blue G37 Journey w/ Premium. I had been putting off pulling the trigger on a car but my trade in crapped out on me and had to make a decision very quickly about purchasing. I didn't purchase a sport mainly because I really wanted an Athen's blue and I figured could always install parts myself when I wanted to upgrade them(Pretty much add the sport package over time.) I have a little buyers remorse about not getting a sport but I'm moving past that as I do love the car.
Anyways, I had a couple questions about suspension upgrades:
What exactly is in the "sport tuned suspension" in the sport package includes that is different from the stock suspension in the Journey? My plan is to add sway bars and springs which should help quite a bit with the body roll of the stock suspension.
My second question is how different is the steering ratio in the non sports? And is this something that can possible be modified cheaply or is it not worth it?
My last question is about installing nav. I have researched it quite a bit and everyone pretty much said it cant be done which I should just believe so don't jump down my throat about it. The only reason I ask is, the dealer told me it was "Nav Ready" and that nav could easily be inserted into the car. He made it seem like it was plug and play as long as you bought the entire console from a nav car it could be installed. I realize he may have just been spewing some bull but I figured I would make sure.
Thanks,
I look forward to being on this forum quite a bit.

I dont think there is a cheap way to modify the steerign ratio as I would imagine this would invole replacement of major parts...
not sure about the NAV but I have seen people use plug and play options usign the aux screen.
