But i have the MXP exhaust and i've had it on for awhile now, and i just got a MXP resonated test pipe. Would there be alot of rasp? no right?
Thanks in advance.

I had MXP catback and MXP test pipes. OMG IT IS LOUD AS HE!!. When we went on runs the guys wouldnt want to follow me becasue of all the high pitch sound and just obnoixusly loud! MXP catback just isnt designed for all the extra flow from the TPs. Im now running a full Fast Intenstions setup. 18" resonated catback and Tony made me some double resonated TPs and it sounds great. No rasp.

OP, not meaning to threadjack but... what's everyone's opinion on running stock exhaust with a test pipe (MD art pipes to be precise)? I'm not really looking for the sound part of it although also welcomed. I was more concerned from a performance/safety standpoint if the stock exhaust is too restrictive or not.

I cant say much myself cuz i have both exhaust & test pipe now.

On the other hand. I just installed the test pipes last night, and i didnt test it much last night.
I did this morning and it feels a lot less restrictive.
its not as loud as i thought it was gonna be but when u step on it, it lets everyone know its there.

If anyone wants me to do a sound clip let me know.

If you"re still in the market for a set of test pipes, i have a nearly brand new set of Fast Intentions Non-resonated test pipes you could take off my hands. They were on the car for three days, so they are still mint. PM me if interested, i have no use for them now, so i am sure I could help you out with the price.

Honestly, in combination with Fast Intentions CF Cat-backs and Stillens Gen 3's, cold starting the car in the garage almost shattered the windows, haha. Basically, just a little too loud for my taste. Sorry we couldn't make it work, good luck with your set-up.

I actually had an aftermarket exhaust and decided to go with GTM Resonated Test Pipes, after installing them it was way too loud for my tastes, so I threw the stock exhaust back on.

I actually like this the best, Test pipes and stock exhaust, the stock exhaust flows pretty well, its really the factory catalytic that are the biggest flow restricter.

Its a bit raspy, but I don't mind it, I got used to in a few days, and I definitely noticed a bit more low end torque, and I feel as if the car is breathing better with the test pipes.

I put Megan Racing resonated test pipes to the stock exhaust. The sound became like the FX50, but at the revs above about 4.5-5 there was a small rasp.
When I put the M2 axelback, rasp was gone, but the sound became very loud.
I have had to install back the stock axelback.
