Get Exhaust or CAI?

I'm looking for something that will roar at the best price. Which would make it sound louder at engine start + lower revs?

I wanna get stillen gen 3 since its relatively cheap (500), and I heard it sounds great, but only in the 7-redline.

So best price + best sound + best HP and price>HP>sound

There are a lot of happy STILLEN customers when it comes to the exhaust.. it's throaty, no drone, an aggressive version of the natural VQ37 sound.. and if purchased before the end of the month, comes with the bonus of a free Gen 3 Intake..

So if you purchased the exhaust.. you'd get the intake for free.. kinda solving your question posted..

if i could of had that deal when i first started modding my car (and actually had money) i would be all over it. i may be giving you a biased opinion since i havent had an exhaust, but i got a R2C intake and i have no complaints, sounds great when you give it some gas. cheaper then an exhaust too. in your price range there isnt many exhausts, i think the invidia Q300 is around 800 and all other exhausts go up from there

Look into a used exhaust, or just keep saving!

Cool. I may get the stillen exhaust + CAI then since it looks like its pretty easy to sell if I ever wanna get rid of it.

^+1 Exhuast is what you want for sound, and the Ark delivers in every other aspect as well and it's priced nicely. You could also look for a Tanabe Medallion and add the rest later for a full catback but in the end more expensive.

Intakes are really the icing on the cake of sound with Exhaust being the cake.

Go for that deal and sell the intake for $500 on eBay.

If you want a nice sound at lower RPMs, the R2C intake is the way to go. Along with a catback of course.
