Help Thinking about Uprev Tune
Thinking about Uprev Tune
Hey guys I have a few questions regarding the uprev tune.
I currently have the hypertech installed on my 2010 g37 and I was wondering do I need to uninstall it before I get the uprev? I am assuming the uprev will just override the tune itself.
Also with HFC,intake,Exhaust what is the usual increase of whp?
Thank you!!!!!

Yes, UpRev will over ride anything you've currently got on there (it doesn't have to, but most tuners will)
and the gains are 100% a product of the tuner. better tuner = better gains.

I'd take UpRev over Hypertech anyday...
Isn't Church Auto in socal?
Or you can check out SpecialtyZ? That's where I went. Sebastian is a great guy and an awesome tuner...

Haven't talked to Sebastian in about a month or two. Last time I talked to him and stopped by he was installing a GTM TT kit on a brand new 370z. Sucks he's been in and out of surgery.
OP, gains will vary between different mods that are on the car. Is yours 6mt or A/T? I've posted my results and opinions in other threads about UpRev. I gain a maximum of 18whp in the midrange. What it does is smooth out your power curve so your car runs the way is should with the various added mods. I noticed a huge difference afterwards. Way more responsive due to the reduction of throttle restriction after the tune.

Sebastian is back at the SpecialtyZ for about 4 hours a day while he's still recovering. I recommend anyone around SoCal looking for an UpRev tune hit up Seb @ SpecialtyZ. He's been tuning Nissians forever including his 600+whp 300zTT and his new GTMTT 370z. He did the install and tune all himself. I'd trust this guy with any of my cars. Plus he's a cool dude!
