Looking for Rims

Im looking around and interested in purchasing the 19" Vossen vvs084 rims and tires. Im curious to know if i put them on factory springs if im going to get rub on my wheel wells. I do a lot of city driving with pot holes and such. is there going to be enough room left without any rubbing. and are they going to fit rite. I won a 2009 G37 4 door. My second question is for those of you who purchased a set of these or are in the business. What do 4 of those rims and tires go for?

Here's someone selling 20"

https://www.myg37.com/forums/wheel-a...sicly-new.html

Here's the website if you want to ask directly to the source
VVS084 VVS-084 staggered Wheels Rims – 5x120, 5x114.3, 5x4.5, 5x130, 20?, 22?, 20x9, 20x10.5, 22x9, 22x10.5

tires i would go 245/35/19 in the front
Tire Search Results for the fronts

and 275/30/19 in the rear
Tire Search Results

As for rubbing, there's plenty of people with 20" on lowered springs that do not experience rubbing. So 19" would be fine, you will still have a huge gap between tires and wheel well and would suggest some lowering springs or coilovers.

just make sure to go around the pot holes

Good Luck!

and search "20" vossen"

you will find many members with 20" with eibach springs that lowers the front 1.2" and the rear 0.8" and not rub. You can even Private Message them directly since they might not read this post due to the vague thread title.

So if your on stock spring suspension you should be good to go. Some people have put 22" on a G37 you can search "22" rims" and it'll show that setup if you want to go big.

Good Luck!

19" if your worried about potholes since you will have meatier tires to absorb the impact
20" for looks.

The majority who upgrade to rims get's 20" so why reinvent the wheel, go with what works.

you want 20 over 19". Plus the 084 are not yet available in 19". You definitely will not rub with Tanabe springs and most likely not wth eibach.

Don't get Eibachs!!! You can run 20's with h&r , and tein Stechs with no issues me and many members have vossens and S Techs and is honestly the perfect set up. I am on 15,000 miles zero issues just take a look at my car, slammed37s, vonyc and solismos rides... I've seen eibach and vossens and absolutely does bot not look as good as it does with Tein!!! All very simple and very clean
