Its all about the fluid dynamics of the exhaust. To small obviously increases restriction, but to large of a pipe loses fluid momentum. Most people confusingly call this "back pressure" and really dont understand the concept. This "back pressure" is really the pressure difference and the less delta P (pressure loss) in the system, the more exhaust you flow. Just as you put an X or Y pipe in the exhaust, the exhaust is sized to "scavenge" the gases out of the combustion chamber.

i said updates at the end of the week. actually the guy who is getting me the super charger is coming over tomorrow for a super bowl party. so by tomorrow tonight i should have exact details of when it will be installed

^ Lol, sorry bro they dont mean it like that. Its just that normally people would post up once the process is started, or you know when they are done. Instead of posting "i got new rims on order!" they post "New rims, pics inside!"

that way, it eliminates the flaming, and impatience of the people on the boards. Hey though, i believe you. Hope to see some progress soon.
