Thanks.
The kit is comprised of 3 main looms with 9 different connection points and a total of 6 wires. We like to double up some of the connection points to allow for an easier installation as well as a cleaner, O.E. wiring harness look.

We use various mounting points throughout the engine bay such as the engine block, battery, different mounting points on the chassis.

The instructions are being finalized right now but they will be up on the website shortly.

I love the grounding gear kit. Recommend a grounding kit to anyone with a 5AT. Better throttle response, quicker downshifts, very good results. Grounding gear uses 10 wires if I remember right and hits both sides of the chasis, both throttle bodies, 2 spots on the block, the battery, 2 other spots on the intake plenum and the ECU itself. Great quality wires and connectors. I can't speak for Stillen, but if the results are similar, and you have a 5AT, go for it!!

So this mod is only really worth it if you have a 5AT?

Grounding kits help manual and automatic cars. Automatics also get the benefit of smoother shifting though.

I have a grounding kit also and there is a definite improvement. At least with the tranny. great option for 5AT's.

I really don't see any reason to add a grounding kit to your car if you have a 6MT. All the possitives from the kit I experienced all come in the form of improving the auto tranny. No real "power" gains, ie. HP/TQ. It mainly helped the 5AT.

^

Thanks for the answers.

I am actualy stunned at the price for these things. There is no earthly reason for this to cost what it does....the markup has to be insane. IMO these things should be sub $50, with shipping....not $100+

^ Exactly, for a bunch of gauge wires and connectors it shouldnt cost more than 60.
100+ is insane.....

Accessories always have a huge markup. You know how much your power cord or car adapter for your cell-phone cost? You spend $20 in the store and they cost less than a dollar.

If anyone cares, I talked to Black Betty, and he said he can throw a kit together for around 65.
Any thoughts, ideas, or comments on this?

I've already PM'd him and expressed interest. Keep it going so he has a reason to make a kit!
