custom lights

Hey everyone, i'm starting a new project, just ordered a set of OEM 07+ sedan tail lights that i'm going to use as a proto type. The plan is to create custom unique designs by either changing how the stock leds work, or adding leds to enhance and personalize tail lights. As of now i'm starting with tail lights and if all goes well I will design headlights as well.

to kind of get an idea of what I am doing, YouTube cincitydesigns. Their lights are a little on the extreme side of where I want to go, but it's an idea.

once I get the proto type up and working I will post a video of them for you to see, I would love all of your inputs and would def give you a great deal if you wanted your own lights done.
Any input or ideas are helpful! I will try to post the video in a couple Weeks. Thanks!

I really like the idea of doing sequential turn signal like the mustangs, using both rings, the turn signal would override the brake. But there is tons of possibilities

i have no idea what those halo's are all capable of, but what about doing the dual halo and have the outer one as your blinker and progressively getting brighter and then dimming for a blinker. So it would be a slower, more exaggerated blinker signal. Might be tough to pull off the mustang signal since there are only two indicators instead of the three mustangs have

I did something similar, I made it so that the inside ring was always the brake light, and the outside one would blink with turn or stay steady with brake if turn wasn't going. Believe me, anyone who knows what they're looking at will be amazed!
Did you end up having to put a load resistor across the turns?

Also, mind me asking where you got the spare tails from? I only had my stock set, and I would like to have an extra to mess with haha
