I can stay there too if need be, I just don't like the idea of driving an extra 2 hours if I can save some lol. Hell you guys could wake me up when you leave and I could be ready by the time you get to Tomah with the hour difference But I would be up and ready anyways. Lance expect me on your couch the night before. i just wanna get up and leave lol. Driving from EP is a solid 45 minutes tacked on that already horrendously early morning haha.

 

To avoid ANY kind of stresses of "meeting people"(aka Mike in Tomah), I'd like to avoid that at all costs.

If its okay with you Mike, I'd prefer for you to come up Tuesday sometime. I can even leave the house open for you to prep your car or do whatever you need to do.

For Tuesday night, I'd like to have everyone there. This way we have zero worries about someone "oversleeping" or being late. This is simply unacceptable.

For Wednesday morning, I'd like us to try and be on the road by atleast 5am. With a 17/18 hours to drive to NC, lets face it, its going to be a long trip(BUT WELL WORTH IT!).

Mike - you will be in charge of gas locations. We will probably communicate this via radios. I want NO ONE under a 1/4 tank. The LAST THING we need is someone running out of gas. So this will be up to everyone being communicating. All of us should be pretty close anyways, so this shouldn't be an issue.

Wednesday evening, I'm hoping we can make it to Knoxville, TN by evening if need be, Lexington, KY. That leaves us about 5 hours of drive time in the morning.

I'm also still figuring out what route we'd like to take, and if instead of going straight to the village, would we like to go straight to the AIRSTRIP event??

These are also things to think about and take into consideration. I'll do some more research this afternoon of the exact location of the airstrip and what would be the best option to route it out.

 

Exactly my same thoughts, Lance. And we should be able to hit TN no problems. When I drove to Florida, I made it to Nashville no problem on my frist day and we left 6am-ish. Got there by like 5 so a few more hours we could have gone.

 

Im gonna catch up with you guys in the morning since this will be the last time I see Lyd and the kids until June 5th. Ill make sure im over in plenty of time in the am

 

If there was any other excuse then that one....I'd say he// no, but there's definitely no way I can say no to that.

Its 115.2 miles away from the cabin. We can go straight there and it ends up being just over 50 miles longer then if we were to go straight to the cabin(keep in mind no including the 115 miles/~2hrs 15mins driving back west to actually GET to the cabin)
