I was looking at the map, and you'll need a small detour. County A by Maiden Rock is all gravel and under construction. I'd recommend this detour: 385th St/E River Rd to US-10 W - Google Maps
I think it is all paved. For sure 385th st is because I was just on it.
And if you want to take some more side roads, this stretch near Stockholm is pretty fun and doesn't really add much distance to your route: Stockholm, WI to WI-35 N/Great River Rd - Google Maps
Overall the map looks like fun. Count me in.

thanks curt for this. This might actually pend until we get to this area and timing. I know Dave from the G's has had some questioning about how long we'll be gone and stuff since his wife is coming along and they're paying for a babysitter .. which is fine, but if they really need to get home, they can leave. Oh how much i wish i had a car for this trip. I'll just be stuck in the passenger seat of Janik's car. At least now I will get to see how you guys drive so I know what's in store for May!
