Guess I'll just plan on heading down there. Trev said he has to work till 2, but I'd prefer to get down there sooner then that or I wouldn't have taken off work Friday.

Who knows...we've got 2 days. I don't even know if my car will be put back together by then so we'll see how tomorrow goes. Either way I'll either swing down through roch, or meet you in Tomah.

Its 157 miles straight to tomah...and 188 down through Roch, so not whole lotta diff.

We are at 3.72 a gallon for premium down here and I have a 10 cent off gas card. So figure about 3.62 a gallon and you will be set!

I just need to wax the other half of my car for the 2nd time and then finish up some detailing on the inside and clean the windows! After that its just taping the front up and I'm good to roll. I'm charging the walkies up now

Rubbbbb it in Mikey....

I will NOT be taping up my front. The bumper was just painted yesterday, and my painter said he wouldn't chance it because the adhesive on the tape can eat at fresh clear

Ok sounds good. I might forgo mine just on the chance that the tape will pull up my wax n show car glaze....plus even with the delicate tape I don't wanna chance having to clean off adhesive stuff :$

Yea I don't really need a 2nd coat but I figured I want it to look perfect n I started before I knew we would be in IL before dusk. I made arrangements for Trev to stay at my aunts house so we can all bunk down in the man cave / basement. I would only recommend 2 guys in the man cave tho lol

I haven't even discussed that with her...theres a new Q5 and my cousins RL that will be parked in there. Since we are staying for free I don't really wanna push the limits of what we can have But I would say to bring your cover if your concerned about it. Plus with the mile of car dealerships right before we get there I can safely say you shouldn't have a concern with that. I'm bringing some Quick Detailer with just in case tho of course!

Remember fellas, need to burn down to 1/8 tank before roll in on Saturday! Sucks cause that means you will have to get gas in the city afterwards... I would recommend getting as little as possible and then more in the suburbs... Gas is not cheap round these parts...

I actually have to go drive my car around after I pick it up form the shop tomorrow night just to burn gas cause I filled up without thinking over a month ago and haven't had time to drive it...
