Congrats bro on the promo, that's awesome!
Yeah read it and only time will tell if this was the right move. Glad I have the last available true "G". This new Q sedan being released in January better be a major hit of style and performance or Infiniti is going to lose a lot more customers to the competition. I wonder what's happening in the auto industry? It seems both German and Japanese manufacturers are renaming and/or expanding their line up.
I can tell you that BMW did split their coupe and sedan nomination and people are all up in arms on that side too.

A buddy of mine and I are going to go down tomorrow to work on my G. He just finished putting the engine back in his Evo 8. We'll get more work done in one day than has been done in the past month that the engine has sat there.
I have a feeling it has A LOT to do with all of the new laws around MPG in the US for 2015 and 2025. Knowing that every car has to move to 30+ mpg and in move towards 50 mpg mark eventually, yet still have performance? Its pretty safe to say we'll be seeing a lot more OEM boost, and possibly more diesels. Either way, its huge changes for the entire industry from the highest end sports car all the way down to big a$$ trucks and SUVs.
good to hear bruce. as for the naming of the new G's, I don't get it... Maybe the letter Q is more appealing to the older folks which are majority of their market. Probably did some stupid psychological research with this new naming convention. $hits weak
