Not kidding at all. You may find this article interesting High Octane Fuel Q&A Feature with Rockett Brand Race Fuel - Motor Trend

Again the main downfall to running 100 octane in our cars would be the higher cost associated with it.

On a NA car, 100 unleaded would be a good way to ensure you aren't running subpar gasoline, but that about it. I mixed in some 100 unleaded when I went racing last year and got my 14.0 quarter mile time.

I drove by on the motorcycle earlier. I saw Nates car from the road, but didn't go in to see what else. Looked like a fairly full lot though

Sonax Wheel Cleaner is an acid-free, non-corrosive formula with a PH of 0. It is used by TONS of professional detailers (including Rasky) and is regarded as one of the best wheel cleaners. Sworn by many and will NOT eat wheels or lips.

Works best if it is a REALLY dirty wheel with caked on brake dust. If your wheels are just dusty however, use some quick detailer or a sponge and some soapy water. Sonax is a little overkill if you keep up on your wheel care...
^Watch that vid. The **** is awesome.

I went to the RK meet last night with some Mitsu guys. The lot got filled up by 7:30 or so. It was a good turnout. There was some nice cars, but a lot of crap too. Oh well.

later,
Curt

That stuff looks pretty sweet. I might have to order some.

Anyone want to go in on a 5 liter jug of it? Looks like it's $15 a bottle, or $90 for a jug (10 bottles worth)

Probably should have done this in the spring, but thought I'd throw it out there. I'd be willing to go 50/50 with someone, or if we want to just fill up a half dozen spray bottles and split it that way - that works too.

Janik_ That's impressive. The only question that comes to mind is how well will this do with polished. SS or chrome lips? the wheel in the video is fully painted so that's the only concern I'd have as far as not comparing apples to apples. I don't know anything about this stuff wanting to get my learn on
