Official *MN G CREW* rAnDoM chat thread/room
Today was a busy day. Been shopping to replace my moms '09 Altima with a newer CUV. Drove a '12 Ford Explorer Limiter, '12 GMC Acadia Denali, '12 Acura MDX, '12 BMW X5 35d, and a '12 VW Toureg V6 Lux.
Im going to talk to Chad at Luther Infiniti tomorrow. They will give me a good deal on any new Infiniti so im gonna see what they will do on an FX35.
It has basically come down to an '12 Acura MDX with Tech and a '12 Infiniti FX35 with Premium and Nav packs (essentially have the same features on both vehicles) both in white :P

It will be a tough decision. Should we keep it in the Infiniti family after having 4 G35s and get something different than a G (but still have an Infiniti), or should we branch out and get the slightly more practical of the two vehicles and try a new brand? Honestly can't go wrong with either. The MDX actually drove awesome. Firm but compliant ride, with a ballsy 300 horse engine. SH-AWD handled fantastic. Took the 494 to 77-N ramp at 45mph no problems. FX is a Z with a lift kit, so we know that drives great lol.

The Price will more than likely be equivalent with probably a slight nod to the MDX (will verify when i get back from infiniti). We ruled out the X5 and the VW because they required a lot more money out of pocket to get into with payments that were still $100-$200 a mo higher. And the domestic crossovers were just kinda big and cumbersome to drive.
That car recently jumped to the top of our list. Might go look at it Saturday.
I could give a rats *** about reliability and the VW. It is a lease that will completely be under warranty, and VW has paid maintenance like BMW. So we dont have to pay anything except the payment and gas, basically.

Anyone here like a good steak from time to time? I'm thinking we should all head on down to Mancini's and have a meal there sometime. I've got a lot of crap going on, but I'm thinking maybe sometime in August? That should give people enough of a heads up if we decide to plan something.
Let me know what you all think.
Mancini's
P.S. - If I were the Godfather, this is where I would eat my steaks. It's straight outta the 40's here.

It sounds like we really should just plan a monthly thing that we all get out to eat. lol
