The CEL from my HFC hasn't come back since I changed the o2 sensor. However, I want the genuine infiniti part and not the generic auto zone part I put in. Midas is ducking and dodging me.. for what 200 bucks.. pretty shi^^y

^^no doubt man, was absolutely draining. I don't know if it was so much the driving, or being at the show for like 11 hours standing on concrete. Atleast in FL we'll have an entire week.

4shizzle!! LOVE IT!!!!! I tried deep friend reeses, because I LOVE reeses, but man, it doesn't work deep friend. The peanut butter just gets really dry and blah. Snickers keep melted and chocolatey.....YUM!

On a side note, MAN I'm getting over the freakin' top frustrated with Luther Infiniti. If you guys hadn't heard, I had my steering wheel replaced about a month ago at Luther. Right way when i picked it up, I noticed it was like 20 degrees off to the left, but didn't let it bother me all that much. THEN on Friday on the way to chicago, prob the first time I've gotten to actually drive the car since i got it replaced, found out the CC didn't work. Turns out they put in a wheel with the module for ICC in it which my car IS NOT equipped with.....**FRUSTRATING**, esp during a 6-8 hr drive one way. So I call IMMEDIATELY on my way down to chicago to make an appointment Monday. Dropped it off at 11am Monday....
Today is Wednesday and its almost 4pm and just got a call from Jim, THE PART DIDN'T COME IN on Tuesday as they SAID IT WOULD, and now today I just get a call, the same ICC part came in again....WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
So now they're ordering me an ENTIRE new steering wheel again just to get a part. I just want my freakin' car back so its not sitting outside Luther every freakin' day this week. They've atleast been putting it inside their shop during the nights, but still, thing NEVER sits outside.

i finally got a call back from them saying that the sound is there because the engine is low on oil. he (Jim) said that it was about a quart low. i'm not sure if a quart would cuz the engine to make noise like that? What do ya think Peng? when your engine was burning oil, was it making a rattly noise? so then he started recommending a regular oil change and i asked why not synthetic (i've been doing synthetic since i got the car) and he claimed that synthetic oil burns quicker with those "sport coupes" than regular oil. WTF? pretty sure the advantage of synthetic is that the blend can withstand more heat and usage before it breaks down. I hate that dude Jim. he's always talking with this ridiculous smile on his face and his first reaction to any problem is ''This is how its suppose to be". Plus, i'm not even sure if they're gonna charge me that half hour diagnostics or not, especially that i brought it in a few times for that sound and they said that they weren't able to "replicate" the sound. GOD I'M SO ANNOYED.

He 100% knew that my steering wheel had "1 pin" to put the wheel back on, so to correct the "crooked" steering wheel I would need an allignment...BULL SH*T! He called back 10 mins later appologizing because "I GUESS IN 07 THEY STARTED PUTTING NEEDLES TO ADJUST THAT WHEEL EVER SO BIT"...dumbass...he knows NOTHING about Infiniti's. All of those guys just rollin in their little boxes and park across the street and work at the dealership.

Got the car. The sound is gone as always. They didn't change me for the diagnostic. I'm just pissed cuz there might be some damage inside the engine from the chain slapping the engine walls when they could've figured this out a long time ago and prevented from happening. And it would be pretty hard to prove damage inside the block.

Hossam, A quart low will probably make the engine tick. As long as you didn't run it like that too long (as in hundreds of miles), there shouldn't be damage. When I ran the oil consumption tests, all I had to pay for were the oil changes-although I remember reading in previous threads that some places didn't charge them if the test was being performed. And remember, I think you gotta run it 3 times too.
