- Young and in school = School is horrible
- Working 50+ hours a week = Dang, I wish I was still in school
- Have your own kids in school = School is horrible, get done already so I have some disposable income to spend on wheels
Master RJ
Atleast my time put in will end up with me making money instead of sitting on my *** on the computer or doing homework haha
And I dont party either so.. never had that problem Dan haha

~Have worked 60+ hours a week in the past and much prefer that to school, and that's with jobs that don't pay all that well. I work about 30hrs a week on average helping manage a store now while attending school, and again would much prefer to take on another 20hrs rather than dealing with school.
~I've been working since I was about 14 whether it was with my father in the beginning years or part time jobs after 16.
I'm not by any means saying school is necessarily a bad thing. I'm just without a doubt ready to be done.
I also see how what you say applies to many, many people. However, it does not apply to all. I don't think I will ever say I want to be back in school. Then again, I am only 21 so things could change in 20-30 years, yes.
I don't know I have quite a few responsibilities now. Will those change in the future yes, but will I have significantly more, I don't think so.
school was awesome. i had so much fun in college. yeah studying sometimes sucked but when i got to upper level classes, it was awesome cause it was stuff i cared about. that's the thing, a lotta people dont do that. they take some boring safe degree nd hate it.
and btw, i took 6.5 years to get a bachelors. i paid for school myself, and the cost of my college doubled in 4 years (slowly) so it got harder and harder to take 4-5 classes and also pay for my riced out civic and sentra.
also, i never hated school, cause i had fun, but damn i did want classes ot be over. but let me tell you, i;ve been graduated for 4 years now, and there are things i do miss. mainly friends, cause just over the last year or so, everyone has started getting married and priorities change, which isnt bad, but you lose a lotta friends after college to "life"... unless you started off not having a circle of friends in the first place.
oh, and setriously, there is nothing amazing about getting older. i'm 29, and its honestly kinda sad that one of the best times of my life is a distant memory, and soon i'll be looking at a complete generation going through what i just did.. it sucks when 18-20 year olds start calling you sir, even though i feel young at heart

Your true goal should actually be to own a self sustainable business that makes you lots of money while you get to sit on your a$$ (clothes optional) on the computer while on the beach sipping drinks
and dont say you wont ever go back to school, till you get to the work force and realize how sometimes a bachelor degree is worthless, esp when you start nearing your 30s and you want out of an entry level job and it's hard to move up.
(this is assuming you work for the man!)

Once you hit the age where you're graduating school, you really don't change much personality wise. The experiences you go through make you who you are.
Hense why it never fails to run into some people tjhat are complete idiots and extremely immature.

not to mention, girls in their late 20s are SO MUCH more intelligent (and the ones who arent getting married are so much hotter!) than girls in college. I think the more developed personality helps...
also after college, their metabolism goes to crap so you get either a gross chick or a girl who takes care of herself...
not to say girls in college arent ridiculous... but the attitude turns me off now, like HS girls did when i was in college haha

Wow, Emad, just dropping knowledge! I do agree with him on all of it too, especially the part about girls/women. As well as Dan's comments. It's not like I really wish I could go back and be in school again, but the experieinces you have in that time is a life long memory you surely do not want to lose. Life comes fast post graduation!
f u c k i n hell it does. i dont even know where the second half of my twenties went.
haha @ dropping knowledge. i just dont want people to go through college in a rush to get out of it, it's honestly the only time in your life where you can party that much and before your friends become absolutely lame.
(although i still loooove to party)
