That's good news though, atleast you don't have to purchase new products, just a headache.

Let us know what Berk says. That's verrrrrry interesting. Also, plan for this weekend??

I would join you guys, but Shan at the last minute dropped her plans on me for Saturday and we had planned to have the day to hang out and do w/e, so I'm now working part of Sat so I can have Fri off instead. Otherwise I would join. Depending on how many ppl get together and when/where I might still swing up after 12 or so, we shall see. Keep me posted tho, I got nothing planned until 7 or so

I think we should have a meet this weekend. I'd love to go to that Sonic in Bloomington with just the G crew. Maybe a late lunch on Saturday or Sunday. Its gonna be in the 70s both days.

I would be down for that Curt!

You dudes are also welcome over my (parents) place this weekend since they are out of town for the next week. I got a $hit ton of hamburgers and hot dogs and stuff for a BBQ. Looks like a better chance of rain on Sat so maybe we could plan on Sun since I may not have all my goodies installed until sometime in the afternoon Sat

Help if anyone's gone thru this. So i paid off the G and it was in the ex wife's name. She signed title to me and have lien release, but do I have to put a purchase price on it? Haven't gotten it registered in mn yet. Because I really didn't purchase it and idk why it was only titled in her name... What a pain...

I like that idea. How about we scrap the Sonic thing and plan a BBQ at your place on Sunday afternoon. Maybe each person could bring something to share.

This actually is pretty simple. I deal w/ car titling every day(banking).

Just go to the DMV. As long as she signed the title over to you, and you have the lien release, then you're good. The purchase price would be ZERO, otherwise you will have to pay sales tax all over on it from when she purchased it.

The other way of doing it is filling out a DEED. She would grant/deed the title to you. Just go down to the DMV, they'll give you the form.

IF you are running any kind of non-stock wheel, especially chrome/shinny, go with ceramic. Better stopping power and a lot less break dust. Also less noisy. All together a superior pad.

Dude, WE got great oil change specials at Advance (best in the industry) including on Mobile One right now, otherwise I can get you 20% off normal pricing.......
And that goes for anyone who does their own oil changes. I can beat about any price out there through various ways on any oil and filters we carry at Advance Auto Parts.........

What Lance said for this is all true. DO NOT put a purchase price on the title transfer, you will be forced to pay the motor vehicle excise tax on it. Go to the DMV and explain the situation, they will get you all the correct paper work.

Also, for the oil filters, Advance carries Purolater, and if you read through that thread about filters Lance linked to, it's a great filter. Also carry Bosch and Mobile 1 filters, the other superior filters in the industry. If anyone needs oil, filters, other replacable parts, let me know.
