For sure Mike did not have OEM Rays. Ill bet the farm on that
Good info, I think you persuaded me to avoid that size... this is specifically what I was looking at :
19 inch Continental Tires PAIR
He sent me better pics and they look really good, manufactured in 08 which isn't exactly new, but new enough if anyone else is looking for that size.

I have read way too many threads of people arguing about what size is acceptable on these wheels so I'm probably just going to get some 255/35's, the Audi dealer in Maplewood has some take-offs for a great price I'm probably going to get. In hind-sight I would have gone with factory specs except I got a pair of PS2's for next to nothing and those are 245/35's so there goes that idea. And since it's not likely I'm going to get coilovers anytime soon the stretch look wouldn't look good on my drop otherwise I would try something way different.

Wow, that's wide. You have a little more room then me since you have a coupe. I would probably have to get fenders rolled if I went 265 or higher. That's another consideration I suppose. How does it handle/take turns with those wide tires on it?

o yeah, i didn't think about that difference between the sedan and coupe. as for handling, it handles pretty well. especially in the rain, those DW tires are awesome in the rain. i haven't been on the twisties with them yet do i can't say anything about aggressive cornering and tire wall flex!

Here's my KDW 2's with 275s out back. Ben ran that on his coupe too. It was on the 05s and up that had the 225/245 offset and you could run 245/275s just fine. When I got my TSW Thruxtons I ran 255/285s lol. Notice the tread pattern

Here's another pic It's been done by quite a few ppl actually
