If you go farther and decide to mud/tape and paint it, you might want to considering hiring the mudding and taping. Its sucks and takes some real talent to get it to look right.
Another option to give it a nice finished look it to put fire rated plastic panels (FRP) to put over the sheetrock. Its a waterproof finish and can stand up to scratches and scrapes. I'm considering doing this. But the panels are $25 a piece, so its kind of spendy. Here is a pic I found of garage done with FRP panels: http://i55.tinypic.com/2cge99f.jpg

I insulated and sheetrocked my garage 10 years ago. Get some buddies over to help and rent a sheetrock lift.

As for drywalling, its not that bad. The #1 thing to remember though is its MESSY. Make sure you wear a mask the whole time, can really harmful. I did a lot of drywall work when I was in high school, and redid a few panels in my current garage myself. Also fixed all the imperfections in all the walls and painted them all myself. I also redid all the outlets and rewired them(MAKE SURE YOU JUST OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER) for black outlets rather then white and light switches. Only thing left is I need to decide on what type of trim I'd like to do....there's the commercial trim and then there's just 1x2's that typically are used at the bottom of the drywall to fill the gap to the cement.

I bit the bullet and setup an appointment to have my coils installed Friday. I figured since my friend who would normally do it for cheaper can't get it done until mid April at the earliest and he has a wedding in June to deal with he was out
Just debating if I should have a camber kit installed while they are in there.....I just don't wanna be spending all my money

Yea we seem to be the only ones doing our installs haha. Although when mike said 50 bucks to swap springs, I was ready to make an appointment... Unfortunately, that's the booked guy lol.
