i'm worried about the snow up there. we were planning on having our bachelor party down in welch village ski resort, but it's not looking good for snow there yet....
They make snow at night, all the hills have been open since November. You got nothing to worry about, even this 50 degree weather doesnt melt too much on the hills since they make it at night. It will be around zero degrees before ya know it

i was just there this past saturday and it was fine. its all fake snow but it works. we had fun until one of us took a really bad fall and we called it a day.
i dont even know what the hell fake snow means.... is it still cold or is like you're skiing in shorts or something? hahaha
Haha gotta love ppl from the south. It's just snow made from water... It feels just like the wet heavier snow. You wouldn't be able to tell a difference unless u r really into skiing/snowboarding.
I just brought my cousins skiing for the first time since they r from Florida and they couldn't believe u could make snow haha.
yeah i've skied like 4x.. i still suck but i've done it in the rockies, vail, breck, etc.... so i was just seeing if it would be very comparative.... i guess not too much if i'm somewhat of a noob haha!
ohhhhhhhhhh boyyyyy...what have I gotten myself into....LOL!!!!!!
from my experience...fake snow is slippery as he//. Its like ground up ice cubes.
"fake snow" tends to be more slippery and hurts more when you eat it every now and then... but definitely better than snowboarding/skiing on grass for sure.

I've never been out there yet (REALLY WANT TO) but it'll be different for sure. its a lot sh;ttier here compared to there but you might not notice that difference since you're still starting the whole thing up. Either way, i think its good enough for you're skill level to have a lot of fun.

Hossam - do you board or ski?? I've been known to be the master at BOMBIN the hills..whahaha..lol. And then taking out the random person going back and forth...wh00ps? That's when I was big into skiiing in my HS days.

LOL... that's actually how my friend got hurt on saturday. We were on the back bowl at welch taking the long way home so she decided to go faster than she usually do and finally came behind a skier that was going back and forth so she fell trying to avoid him.
also i board... i tried skiing once a couple of years back at lutsen but i guess i can't make a call whether i like it or not since it was for only a bit. i will say though that starting to ski is easier than starting to board.
Sup everybody Looks like Ryan/Dawn have finally been bitten by the mod bug lol
They aren't the only ones I went ahead and snatched up one more for good measure I figure since I'm still single she can't get mad at me and if she does then that's her own damn fault
