So I contacted a dealer about prices on the Infiniti Elite Protection Plan

I am trying to think If this would be a wise choice or not. I have noticed a second gear grind in the car that is there often when the car is cold and about 10% of the time when it's warm.

There is an inspection that needs to be done before the warranty is "officially" offered and don't know if they would catch the tranny or not. Other than that it seems like it is up to 8 years or 120k. Which confuses me because my car is now about halfway through it's 6th year of service and she gave me the option for an additional 3 years?

Here are the prices:

If I did do it I would probably go with one of the options in bold

G35 w/ 65k miles (price and available terms will change once you exceed 75k).

$0 Ded
12mo/12k=$844
24mo/24k=$1420
36mo/36k=$2080

$50 Ded
12mo/12k=$778
24mo/24k=$1275
36mo/36k=$1863

$100 Ded
12mo/12k=$729
24mo/24k=$1159
36mo/36k=$1689

What do you guys think?

^^^ Andrew_ I would go with the no deductible option. You don't save much up front if you go with deductible anyway.

Trev_ You always got jokes

Well I can tell you first hand that Dan is off to a crazy start. I'm sure he'll be posting at some point today if he can ever get away from his ride

What do these all cover? Did you try calling that dealer down in Arizona? (some chick was the one that handled them) Everyone on Gdriver said she gave the best price on these infiniti extended warranty things and that she will beat any price.

Wouldn't be a bad idea. I am pretty sure I made a thread about warranties 2 weeks back.

That's who this quote is from actually....

Supposedly it covers just about everything that is non wear and tear items basically.

More details if you download the pdf it will tell you in detail what is covered.

Infiniti Elite Plan Information

I am just trying to figure out if it would be worth the money or not. I plan on modding the car and this would set that back a lot $$$ wise, but then hopefully I could get a new tranny? Just too many things to think about.

^^ I dont have to much knowledge about that extended warranty stuff. So i am not of too much help...

So I had my tires mounted on my wheels this morning, and then went to put them on the G to check fitment and it has turned out to be pretttty close to perfect!! I am really happy with the set up before installing my coils, spring cannot come soon enough!

As Tevi said, he stopped by and got to check the concave goodness out in person - and I already want to go back and stare at the car some more... Maybe I will just bring a lawn chair, beer and a mobile TV tmrw and post up by my car all day hahahahah. Here are some pics for all you fools (Tevi may have had a strong influence on this)

Yea you got his name, not bad for only the second day of using that camera. He plans on getting mounts for some sick rolling shots next summer, he will be attending our meets as well to take pics. Just need to convince him to go Infiniti for his next car, no BMW

I need one of those cameras. I don't think it'll be too hard to convince him once he starts attending. Which model is he currently rocking?

Do they have a specific range in years that they will only cover? I am considering removing my third party warranty I got from the dealership I bought my car from. (I am not liking their "not covered list". I was forced to buy it cause of my mom. They would refund the money from the warranty purchase)

I have a 2003 G35 coupe, is that a too old for them to cover? I remember a online website asking for a estimate but I never bothered. But since I read the warranty terms I have right now I am a bit iffy. (I should have read it before buying it ><) I have never seen the warranty terms for the Infinity Elite Plan but I am most likely sure it covers more than the current third party warranty I have.

Meh, not so much that, I would really like to get the tranny fixed though. Not a horribly big deal but would be nice, I'm tempted to just get the one year and get that fixed and see if anything else pops up.

I'm not sure to be 100% honest. This is who I contacted about the warranty:

Courtney Mutema
Finance Manager
Infiniti of Scottsdale
cmutema@vtaig.com
480-941-0055
480-941-4481(fax)

Dan~ Car looks sick, can't wait to see if slammed!
