I will be coming tonight too, since I am up by Tevi I don't plan on meeting you guys at Ikea but would definitely be down to meet you guys somewhere near MAP. Maybe meeting near Lupient Infiniti in GV wouldn't be a bad choice... It isn't too far off 169. Just keep us updated and hopefully traffic isn't too bad for you guys in the south!

I got to wondering tonight if the Plasti Dip had any effect on my Dyno numbers......

 

Thanks, hopefully I can get some decent gains on an exhaust. I honestly wasn't expecting any kind of gains like this from an intake that some ppl consider a short ram intake. But it was surely amazing. I kinda wish that guy was there that claimed I would lose a bit of power....he seemed quite certain On that note I will call it quits for the year on mods and just get my springs installed. Save some cash for the rest of the year and focus my efforts on being able to handle the 279.75 hp I have recently acquired. It's sad really....with only an extra .2 Liters and another OHC I make almost 9 more hp than our V6 Accord makes at the crank....

Night all, it was great to see everyone and I'm really pleased with the group we have. It was awesome to hang out, and I look forward to future events. Nice to see the group growing! Also thanks to everyone that helped me install my intakes, I was starting to get slightly frustrated with those damn vacuum tubes. But I'm glad I had the help I did, so thanks!!!

 

Given the dynos I've seen tonight after doing some searching around I'm extremely disappointed with all of our cars and their numbers that we got. According to Stillen and Automobile magazine a stock G37 coupe rated at the crank for 330 hp and 270 ft lbs of torque should put down roughly 286/287 hp and 237ish for torque. Yet I couldn't even realize that number with 2 awesome mods that made some significant gains on the butt dyno. I also found it VERY weird that given the gains that the machine said I made....that their wasn't a big gap between the two graphs like you would see on many other sites.

Haha, well Lyndon posted on my FB that his 37 did 275 with an uprev tune and R2C dyno. That would put it close to our numbers tho since he has an 08 Coupe...I'm just confused by the numbers given what I've seen some places run
