New Here :)

Hey guys I'm Thomas from Hugo, Mn...

Just looking to join up here for the wealth of knowledge. Been a G fan for years (had many rentals while traveling) and finally decided to pick up an 03 sedan for a nice daily driver. A 1970 El Camino SS and an Escalade was getting hard on the wallet to drive to work every day and the Ducati 848 only comes out when the sun is out and obviously not snowing...

Welcome Oscar! First car eh??? Take care of her and join the world of broke college students (im one LOL)

Car looks nice man! White for the win!

And if your worried about winter, get some snow tires. Makes the BIGGEST difference with these cars.

Yeah I couldn't decide on which car I wanted. I was looking for an Evo, STI or Speed6 but most of them had salvaged title or was way over priced. Then I saw G and the Ivory White color and fell in love with it. So I told my mom to put a down payment right away (I found another G35 earlier, it sold within the next 5 hours of me looking at it, It sold super fast).

And no I did not have my mom pay for it ^^. I saved up 10k doing internet things.

I have to go around and look for some 350/370 or G35 rims for a winter set. I got a quote around $1500-1600 for a full set of Blizzaks and brand new 17 inch rims from Discount Tire. That's too much O_O

I am 17, and with no job. This is going to be fun ^^

a suggestion for you would be to use your stock wheels and mount them on winter tires...that will save you at least half in costs for the time being...then you can try to save up and get some decent wheels and tires for next spring/summer.

that's what i do..winters can be harsh here, theres no point in using good wheels with all the salt and snow on the ground...
