Looking to buy a car at Indianapolis, any good mechanic can be recommended to perform a pre-purchase-inspection for me?

A safe option may be going to dealer? I went to another brand's dealer with my friend to do the PPI, they just gave a form to me without letting me talk with the mechanic, which I don't really like. Not sure if all the dealers will do the same. An independent mechanic knowing g37 well will be the best for me, if there is one. Thanks.
