Hi,
Can anyone recommend any good places to window tint a G37 in West Chicago Suburbs? I've looked at a few places for about $270. Is that the going rate nowadays? Umbra being one of them. Also heard of Caesar in the city but I believe thats a bit far and somewhat of a hassle.

Price will vary by number of windows- coupe vs. sedan, but ~$250 is what I have paid in the past. I had my 2013 G37x Sedan tinted (20% all around) by Z Tech in Naperville. I can't give you a price since the dealer threw in the tints when I bought the car as part of negotiating. But I can say the company did an awesome job! They use 3M material which I have used on all my cars, looks great and will last.

I also have a guy in Chicago that blacked out my tail lights. Let me know if you want his info. They do windows as well.

I took my car to Umbra Tinting in Schaumburg. Owner/tinter is named Nino. He also tinted my tails and is widely used by ChicagoZ members. I have a coupe, so my price will be lower than yours but it was only 180 total (130 for the windows and 50 for tails). Happy hunting!
