Infiniti of Denver messed the paint on brake rotors
Hello,
So I bought a set of front and rear DBA T3 4000 rotors and sent my g37 to Infiniti of Denver to have them install the rotor and Hawk pads. Once they were done I left immediately and didn't check the rotor as I was late for class. Once I was home I checked the rotors and the front ones had some of the paint scraped as if it was wiped with a degreaser.

The rear rotors look perfectly fine.

I talked to the service representative but it doesn't seem like they are going to do anything.
Can anyone advise me on what to do?
Thanks.

When they rebalanced my then -1200 miles - new g37xs sedan last September (on a road trip) they did a great job. Maybe because they are specialty items they didn't realize it.
Well each rotor came with a yellow instructions sheet, so I think they just ignored it until they realized something was wrong. I will ask them to refund me the labor charge, I don't think it is acceptable for something like this to come out of a dealer.

I doubt the dealership will do anything for you. Maybe if you've provided them with work in the past they'd consider doing something.
Most new rotors have some sort of coating on them to keep from rusting. Upon installation, brake clean is used to remove this. If this rotor required any sort of special care/handling, it should have been noted on the ticket and pointed out. Techs probably opened the box, removed rotors, then tossed any papers that came with it.
