ST Louis Body Shops

Hi, got a few deep stratches in the rear bumper on my 11 G37. Looking for a recommendation for a good body shop in the ST Charles area.

Thanks

drozlee,

Definitely check out Spirit West Auto Body - 1883 S Old Highway 94, Saint Charles, MO 63303. Phone number 636-947-1413. They do great work. I was t-boned in my Civic a few weeks ago and they repaired my car. Honestly, it looks better now than it did when I first bought the car. I'm rebuilding a G37x and I will definitely bring it to them for the touch-ups & paint.

Best of luck!

I've always used Sharp Cars in O'Fallon - Sharp Cars Detailing & More, LLC || Serving the greater St. Louis area since 1997. They are the best IMO.
I've also heard good things about Cool Shades in St. Charles - Cool Shades - Home

Sharp Cars did my 2006 Honda Civic sedan all around (except for the front windshield) for about $150. They have a lifetime warranty on the tint and work if you make sure to get legal tint (which I believe in Missouri is about 35% or greater light through). Jason, the owner, is a great guy and if you go to the shop, you will see how meticulous he is with the shop and the customer cars. I know that rapper Nelly has been a customer of Sharp Cars in the past, so they must be good.

Exigent,

I just got a quote from Sharp Cars for tinting my 2010 G37x sedan all around (minus the front windshield). They quoted $195. I looked back at the price for my Civic's tint. It was $150 because I used a $40-off coupon that I found in one of the St. Charles mailers. Forgot about that. You may want to check around for one.

I'd love to see pics of your Sharp Cars tint job if you get it done. I'll try to post pics of mine too. I should be getting it done before the end of June.

Also, for a complete auto detail - exterior wash & wax, tire cleanup, interior vacuum & clean, engine bay wash, etc., Sharp Cars charges $165.

Regards,
zinger

Good deal, Exigent! I did not know Sharp had a location off Ashby. Nice. Can't wait to see pics of your ride. I should be getting paint & tint within the next week or so for my X sedan. I'm pumped...

Funny...I put those on my sedan a few weeks ago! I never drove the car with the stock intake, so I wasn't able to compare the 2. I put 20" Motegi MR107 rims on recently. I ordered Swift springs as well, but they're back ordered until July.

Any other suggestions for upgrades/performance parts? What have you done to your car and what model G do you have?

just the intake so far...gonna do hfc/exhaust then bring it down like 1.5 inches...thats about all i have planned

btw theres some noticeable imperfections in the tint, especially the rear window...will those cure as the tint sets? If not I'll have to have them redo it

Some of those imperfections will go away over time. If they do not settle within a week or two, I'd bring it back to them. I'm sure they won't mind.

The car looks very nice! In fact, you have pretty much the exact same car that I do - same color, model, etc. The tint really makes it look great. One other thing I did was the Lamin-X tail light overlays. I went with the gunsmoked kind that look like dark tint. Personally, the stock tail lights are just too red for me.

Nice job on the car...it looks awesome!
