I want to throw this out there to the entire midwest as to who would all be interested in getting together for a midwest gathering?


I'm trying to narrow down an event or a meeting place to do this. It starts with the actual state.

If we do the North Central, it'd be ND, SD, MN, and WI.
If we do the Mid Central it'd be NE, KS, MO, IA & IL.
If we want to sweep I'd say MI, IN, KY, and poss OH would be good too.


Right now I know that a bunch of us MN are planning a cruise down to Wisconsin Dells for an event called "Automotion". This is May 20th, 21st, and 22nd weekend. City is absolutely packed full of modified cars for the entire weekend. We have people coming up from Chigago already for that one.

Let me know if you're interested, or thoughts/input.

I'll have to check on some dates but this would be a sweet eide down to the Dells. You guys staying over night then or not?

 

I actually forgot about this. yeah, we'd just all split a hotel room. Bunch of guys from over in Green bay and the Milwaukee areas come up.

 

When you thinking of going down for it? Sat to Sun or fire the entire weekend?

 

i would honestly say the entire weekend...friday night and come back Sunday.

Our sophomore year of college I met up with nick and about 7 other Cavaliers and went. Stayed the whole weekend. Saturday night hit up Cruisin' Chubbies...whAHAHAH! GREAT TIMES!!!!!!

 

Did you attend their "GM Tuner Meet"? I think they are still doing their meet on that weekend in the Dells too. They have even started a little car show on Saturday afternoon.

If you guys are still planning on going to Wisconsin Dells that weekend, you guys can stay at the same hotel as the 3/S guys. I put on the Upper Midwest 3/S Gathering that weekend. As long as you guys can behave yourselves. It gets a little rowdy already with the 3/S owners. So I don't want to add to the mayhem. LOL Let me know.

whoa whoa whoa...how do you knwo about that?!?!?! Me and my buddy nick were part of the "J-BODY" crew up here in the cities and cruised down. Both owned Cavaliers and cruised down with like 6 other cars for the weekend. We were part of the FIRST "GM" show about 5-6 years ago...lol!!

 

I wouldn't be a good car club organizers if I didn't spy on everyone else business. LOL I met a guy in a Beretta a few years back. He posted on the MN 3/S board and told us about the J-body meet. I snooped around on the internet from there.
