Forecast: 65 degrees and Sunny!!!
Ok so Fezzik and I are going to meet in the city tomorrow around 4:45 off of Lakeshore Drive at a Parking lot/Park on N. Recreation Dr. (exit just south of Irving Park Rd. Exit).
The reason we are meeting here and at this time is that Fezzik has a conference all day downtown and gets out at 4:30 (please don't think it's my doing just cause I live downtown)
Main reason that we are definitely meeting: I just HAVE to check out his GTM Supercharged G! I am sure others would love to see and hear an F/I G if they haven't already but I am making my final choices on F/I and the route I am going as well so I am very lucky to get a chance to see this in person and so close.
We would love for other G's to join and maybe even grab something to eat as well just to meet others in our local community.
Let us know if anyone is interested and please don't be shy... His drop-top S/C G is a must see!
AND ITS GOING TO BE (EDIT 65 AND mostly SUNNY!!! why wouldn't you want to be out in your G's (we do not want to hear any weather comments from the other fortunate members that think 68 and sunny is cold where they live, we know Chicago weather sucks but look at it this way, look how much we appreciate such a day!)
Hope that at least a few others can make it!

Damnit! I missed it. Thanks for the invite though. I rarely see any coupes! I did see a graphite S while I was looking for parking yesterday. It was parked at a condo in the Lake and Halsted area right behind Carnivale. Is that anyone here? We should meet soon. I'd like to see your guys' cars.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND: Tire/Wheel Shop Chicagoland
Forgive if you've seen this cross-posted, but I want to tell as many Chicagoland members as possible (especially those of you in the western Chicago suburbs) about a GREAT experience I had at:
NTB
9850 Joliet Rd
Countryside, IL 60525
(708) 482-8473
(1 blk East of the intersection of Joliet Rd & La Grange Rd, and very near the La Grange Rd. North exit off I-55 - "Stevenson Expressway")
I shopped for new rims and this was one of the places I visited during the process because they're an authorized TSW dealer. (I'm leasing, so I didn't want to spend big bucks on a larger wheel/tire, and keep to the stock 18x8s. The TSW rims had the look, price, and quality I wanted.) Although I eventually bought them on eBAY (and, honestly, NTB's price was not that much higher than my eBAY buy...), I went back to this shop for the install because they explained things well (to this noob: things like TPMS sensors, offsets, etc.). The guy to deal with is Juliano Ali, the manager.
I brought the TSW rims over there this past Saturday and I was jumping up and down, so excited because this is the first set of wheels I'd ever purchased, and my cosmetic mods would be complete after this install. They used my original sensors (a savings well over $400 right there) and gave me an install price of............well, I don't want to say here because I wouldn't want to get Juliano into any trouble with NTB HQ. Let's just say he made my day/week/month/year! THANK YOU, MR. ALI!
If you need new tires, wheels, installation and you live anywhere near this shop, this is the place, friends. In fact, the new TSW rims look so good on my coupe, the man who did the actual install took a couple of photos of my ride with his camera phone (fine by me!)
I state here that I have absolutely NO affiliation with NTB nor with this particular shop except that I want to send business their way because they are pros and the customer service is peerless. GO!

Just finished all my exterior mods! Yay!
Hi all! Sooooo excited, I just got my new wheels mounted so I'm done with all the exterior mods (I suppose).
You can see them all in my album.
Just wanted to give a special shout-out to UNCTYPE-S, FEZZIK and CHI-CITY-G.....great guys who helped this newbie chick do the right things in the right places (oooooh, baby!).
(At least I hope I did right by you!)
I still may tinker with the exhaust, but since I lease I have to be ultra-careful.
Thanks for all the good leads and hope to meet up down the road someday soon!
