That damn mod bug got me hardcore last weekend! Thinks I might try my hand at painting my grille since I have a 4 day weekend. I figure if I screw it up enough, it will just force me to get the midnight grille and swap em out.

 

I'm thinking that I might do a midnight grill similar to below (except leave the emblem chrome)

 

That's exactly what I might try this weekend! Top and bottom bars and the emblem still Chrome.

 

BTW, there is a great DIY thread on the 35 site. I found it last night. 2-3 hours start to finish, not to bad at all.

 

I'll just go ahead and try a triple post here. There's a buddy from work who is looking to get a new car in about 2 or 3 months. He listed a bunch of cars he was thinking about. I did my salesman thing and got the G35 coupe and 350Z at the top of his list.

 

Thats what I did when I painted my headlights. I was prepared to buy the 06 projectors just in case I figured either way it was a win win!

You're dying? Dude I'm stuck driving a Altima now for the weekend. I brought my car into Luther Nissan, where I bought it, cuz it looks like it may have been egged at one point and the paint is a lil wierd in three spots. Plus the hail damage on the hood. They are going to see what they do about it, hopefully no charge to me. So the loner they gave me a white 09 Altima 2.5s. I really miss my car
Which also means I won't be doing my grille project this weekend.

I reset the ecu after the plenum and y-pipe install so I know my car is running rich right now. Each day seems to be getting stronger though...so far 2nd and 3rd gear feel a bit stronger. Destroyed a 3rd gen Eclipse that wanted to play last night on the highway Car should be calibrated in a week or so and I'll give you my thoughts then.

 

Haha my mom has an 09 Altima 2.5S. God i hate that car.
