What the heck you guys talking about?
I will be off work at 2 pm on Friday, and I will pack up my things and be on the road by 230 or possibly sooner. So I'm going to assume to be there close to 330 or so. Tom Peters will be heading up from Roch and then just Katie at 7 am. Ben just found out yesterday that his dad is doing a family get together and he wants to be there for that. So hes checking what time that is it and seeing if he wants to do the CnC in the morning, or do the cruise with us in the afternoon. I told him to do both
but that isnt an option.
Am I good to go for a wash and wax on Friday Lance?

I have a random orbital Porter Cable 7242 buffer that I use for polishing. I always apply wax by hand though.
1 and 2 are correct, but generally you polish with a compound and not glaze. Glaze is sort of like a wax but gives a shiny appearance.
Then you check for imperfections, and then apply either a sealant or a wax.

As of tonight, interior is cleaned and ready minus conditioning the leather which I'll do when I get some. K&N is cleaned and drying and will be re-oiled tomorrow.
On a side note, I never even noticed until tonight that there's a slide button on the back of the front seats that the person in back can push to get seats to slide forward!

For my OB is either wax or sealant preferred?

I also found that lever this week and pulled and started laughing cuz I have had the car for a year and didn't know it was there. There are a few cool things to the G I like. The card holder above the driver side window is sweet. I keep my parking pass for work in there.
Sealant=Put right on top of freshly polished paint. Lasts the longest (say do it right before the winter)
Wax=put on right after a polish (without sealant) or put it on top of a sealant for even more gloss.
No. Polishing really only needs to be done if the car has swirls or scratches. I usually just wash my car (properly) then wax it every other week. Keeps the paint (and me) happy.

Which ever you want. Just remember that wax doesn't last as long and a sealant is designed to keep in. It is better for right before winter or right after it and the car is freshly polished.
I am so Effing pumped! I got that rattle fixed. SOOO easy too. I first went and bought a set of those bent wrenches we used at First Gear. I was affraid the noise was coming from the missing bushings.....but it was only because we didn't tighten that damn nut on the top of the shock assembley all the way down. I was planning on taking a half day at work tomorrow so I could jack the thing up and starting pulling things aparts again, by my self (which would have really sucked). And so it only ending up taking me 15 mins to fix. Rattle is gone and I def feel much better now.
I also REALLY like the look now so much better. A very mild drop, but I am so happy I let you talk me into springs Lance! Thanks man.
