Question on Glazes:

Which glaze - that you offer - do you feel is the best product, money aside?

I was thinking of trying Menzerna FTG, but was deterred by the negative review on your site.

I borrowed a container of Danase Wet Glaze from a friend, and it works well and looks great... but I want the best.

 

Most people don't know what to expect out of a glaze or pre-wax cleaner. Some people are looking it to miraculously fill in lots of imperfections, and if that's the case, will be very disappointed. DWG is a very regarded glaze, I find that our Chemical Guys EZ-Creme Glaze is the closest to DWG. It really depends how well the paint is prepped. I find that the EZ-Creme Glaze works best under a sealant, since it has polymers in it.

If the paint is properly prepped and I were looking to just enhance the depth and gloss of the paint, then I'd go with a more oil based glaze, something like Clear Kote Red Moose Glaze or Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite. Sealants typically do not like to bond completely to oil based glazes, so you'd only want to put a wax on top. This means you have to make sure you're reapplying your protection more frequently (monthly recommended) compared to using a sealant.
