I must be the unlucky one then lol 
I love my Carsmo ***** and they are perfect... minus the fact that when winter comes and the temp drops below 35-40 degrees my ***** spin and do not grip.
Thus me having to use my steering wheel controls to adjust the radio or wait on the temp controls until my car warms up after a few minutes.

I absolutely love my ***** as well, I have 2 sets and both sets just spun....only thing that worked as a permanent solution for me was to use a little bit of teflon tape...havent spun since....oh and has nothing to do with cold...i'm in FL.
None the less, may need another set for my brother.

See mine works perfect, no spinning issues at all until it gets cold and then the inner pin shrinks just enough that they're not tight anymore and they dont grip until my car warms up. Your's were probably just bored a hair bigger than mine.
