The rear Lip is made in 3 pieces, one diffuser and the mudguards.

Why 3 pieces?
-you can just buy the mudguards and combine them with any other Lip/Body Kit.
-you can use the V1 or V2 Diffuser with/without the mudguards
-you can use the mudguards without any Diffuser.

I'm sorry man, I couldn't resist, but I wanted to also add...you deserve some serious props for deciding on 3 pieces. You've given us multiple options with this. People who got the original diffuser....need only to buy the mud/splash guards and pair them up with your sideskirts.
