I would also like to see how flush these are considering they are caps. Might be in for 1 if the fitment is good.

They are mirror caps that go over the OEM mirror cover. We played around with the idea of doing replacements at first but abandoned it because:
1. higher cost
2. the piece must include all the clips like on the OEM cover

The thickness is about 1mm. We thought about making it thicker but it'd take away from the flexibility, which is what gives you a little bit of free play when mounting. The thin piece also sits more flush.

I was very happy with the fitment, I'd say it's 99.9% since I don't believe in 100% fitment. The contours are matched very well and with the flexibility, they fit like a glove.

Yup, it's surprisingly easy, takes about 2 seconds for each side to come out. But to make replacements, 1. it has to fit 99.9% around the edges, 2. it has to include ALL oem clips to so the replacement can clip onto the mirror, all clips but also be close to 100% fitment. We thought that would've made production a little more difficult and would also drive up the cost. After all, our goal is to make this available for as many people we can, not to label it as a high-end big dollar item.

Your car is going to look insane with the motor-lux trunk!

The painter's tape is just for temporary mounting when I took pics. That set is already spoken and will be shipped out soon.

Production covers will be mounted with 3M tape.
