Test pipes installation

So my test pipes came in the mail today and me and my friend who is more of mechanic than I am went to go out them on and we couldn't get the cats off. The end with three bolts is kinda stuffed up where a wrench can't reach. Anybody have any tips for getting to the cats or best left for a pro?

Be the pro. Passenger side remove intake tube and air box use some long extensions from the top and also from under the car from the other side. Driver side same, remove airbox and you can get one of them like this with extensions but steering rack will be in the way. Then the rest from the wheel well and from under the car. WD40 or pb blast the bolts nuts a few hours before you start. Extensions are your friends here. They call them demon bolts for a reason.

I have tried to get the cats off and couldn't get the bolts off. Might be stripped. Shops near won't touch it for legal reasons. I might tear down the car tomorrow since I have a 4 day weekend. Any suggestions? I don't have a lift. Just a good jack and some stands.

Take off the headers? Should have plenty of room to do what you need to do to get them off then.

I was wondering about dropping out the whole exhaust. I guess that's it.

Went to go take the headers off tonight. Got the intake off and then broke 2 bolts on the heat shield. I decided to put everything back before I made it worse. Does anyone know someone who would install these around the Cincinnati area? I don't want to break anymore bolts or mess anything else up. I think the majority of the problem is rust.

Any performance shop should take on the install for you. Post in the regional section to get shop recommendations.
