unmarked Test pipes

im posting this to see if anyone has an insight scoop on these test pipes. they look like art test pipes but they not polished or anything

They do. Except the resonator extensions have flat caps, whereas the ART pipes have domed caps, so...

Maybe it wasn't always that way, and these are an old design?

The first versions of ART pipes looked just like these (the extended bung looks to be an add on).

From what I have read from Motordyne, the first versions used different materials inside the resonators that could break up. If anything, you could send the picture to Motordyne to possibly confirm.
