2010 g37x sedan header issue

Hey guys and gals, so I have an exhaust leak coming from where the test pipes meet the headers on both sides. My mechanic said the flange from the headers may be warped since i replaced the OEM cats. So if he can't fix the warp then I might need new headers😥😥 Has anyone installed the DC or Megan Racing headers on their G37x sedan? Just want to know if there were any fitment issues with either one?

Thank you

Very unusual for both flanges to be warped. Might need a second opinion.

He just thought that the flange for the header is warped that connects to the test pipes. The test pipes themselves are brand new. I'm gonna put double solid metal z1 gaskets tomorrow to see if that resolves the issue.

Have you tried gasket maker? Seen many videos of people doing that also just for safe measures so they don’t have an exhaust leak.
