R2C Intakes in California.. Executive Order Number?
So I just moved here in NC and the technician at smog test center told me that R2C intakes are illegal because the brand does not have the executive order number.
It looks like they have particular order numbers for each intake companies and I'm guessing R2C doesn't have one since I can't find it online.
I did find that if I just get an executive order number sticker from other intake company and put in on there, it might work but if I get caught, I would have to pay fines. And now in California (since last year) they use computer system where they can look up the number for your specific intakes(?) so I'm not really into do that.
I tried to call R2C company and it looks like they are closed?.. I left my OEM intake systems back home in Carolina so I might just use that but in same time I would want to use aftermarket intake systems.
Any of you guys had this issue and maybe found a solution? Let me know. Thanks!

I lived the first 35yrs of my life in CA... as you now know, smog is horrible there. Im sure not if its any better now for our G's, but back in my Honda days brands like DC, AEM and some Injen were the only companies that made CARB legal products. I dont think your intake will ever pass visual in CA and I believe their site even states they wont sell to customers living in CA. Best bet would be to swap the stock boxes for smog and then switch back. I know you dont have them, but maybe someone is selling.
