Hey guys, New to the group and also just purchased a top speed axle back (resonated) for my g37 coupe! I love it, but there is an amount of drone in the cabin that seems a little off compared to other forums. Also, the company sent me the exhaust with the silencers installed already(you know I had to take them off lol). Upon taking them off there was a very visible amount of a rust like ring around where it was attached. Would steel wool take this off? If it is even rust or maybe just discoloration how could this be taken care of? Couldn't find anything on the web so maybe this forum could! Any other cool facts about this exhaust would be awesome.

Here is an overview of what Im asking;
1.) How to remove the ring of rust or discoloration off the exhaust
2.) How is this drone compared to everyone else's?
3.) Do NJ Police officers pull you over for this exhaust? What is the decibel rate of it at idle?

You'll have to ask Top Speed about sound pressure level. I can't help with your other questions, but poke around this forum and the stickied coupe exhaust thread in the coupe forum.

 

Try using aluminum foil and can soda as lubricant to polish. If that doesn't work use meguires metal polish. Take the extra 5 mins to tape off area around the tips.so you dont spend 30 mins cleaning off polish that gets slung if u use Powerball on a drill vs hand polishing
